Job Title: Pipe Welder

Job Description
As a Pipe Welder, you will join pipe sections and install piping using specialized welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld pipe seams, joints, fittings and supports according to specifications
Operate and maintain welding equipment like TIG, MIG and stick welders
Inspect and test welds using visual, radiographic and hydrostatic methods
Cut pipe sections using plasma cutters, saws and shears
Fabricate piping spools and manifolds in the shop
Comply strictly with welding safety standards and procedures
Assist with pipe installation and field repairs as needed
Qualifications:
Valid welding certification (e.g. CWB, API, ASME)
3+ years welding steel pipe and tubing
Experience with TIG, MIG and stick welding processes
Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols
Knowledge of weld quality control standards
Attention to detail in welding and fabrication work
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
