Job Description

As a Plumber with SAGCO Contracting, you will install, maintain and repair plumbing systems according to design specifications and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install water supply lines, drain-waste-vent, and gas piping systems
• Inspect, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures like sinks, toilets and water heaters
• Fit piping for water, gas or waste using tools like cutters, pipe threaders and wrenches
• Solder, weld and braze copper, steel and plastic pipes as needed
• Ensure plumbing systems are operating properly and detect any leaks or defects
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings and technical diagrams
• Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations on the jobsite
• Liaise with engineers, clients and other trades as required

Qualifications:

• Plumbing license or certificate from accredited program
• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards and compliance procedures
• Proficiency using plumbing tools, equipment and materials
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new techniques and systems
