Job Description
As a Plumber with SAGCO Contracting, you will install, maintain and repair plumbing systems according to design specifications and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install water supply lines, drain-waste-vent, and gas piping systems
Inspect, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures like sinks, toilets and water heaters
Fit piping for water, gas or waste using tools like cutters, pipe threaders and wrenches
Solder, weld and braze copper, steel and plastic pipes as needed
Ensure plumbing systems are operating properly and detect any leaks or defects
Read and understand blueprints, drawings and technical diagrams
Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations on the jobsite
Liaise with engineers, clients and other trades as required
Qualifications:
Plumbing license or certificate from accredited program
3+ years of commercial plumbing experience
Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards and compliance procedures
Proficiency using plumbing tools, equipment and materials
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn new techniques and systems
